Butters A.M. Eatery is relatively new in the grand scheme of food. I had the chance to go in a few times, enjoying everything from bottomles mimosas with chicken and waffles, to the Italian scramble and the Cap'n Crunch French Toast. If you crave classic breakfast this is the place to go. It's near campus and offers some great deals for CSU students. I recommend the bottomless mimosas if you have the time during the week. |

Silver Grill Cafe is Fort Collins' oldest restaurant, boasting a start of 1933. The restaurant is packed on weekends, so come early and be prepared to entertain yourself for a while. The wait is well worth it and you can even make your own Bloody Mary while you wait on weekends. The specials are always changing and are usually completely delicious. The giant cinnamon rolls are a staple classic any day. |

La Creperie is the best pastry destination in town. With a traditional French chef onboard, you know that the bakery items will be absolutely delicious. Come in for some croissants to go, or sit down and enjoy a hot meal, European-style. Pictured here is The Basic Galette, an organic buckwheat crepe with eggs, swiss cheese, tomatoes, scallions, and mushrooms. |

Rainbow is a perfect spot for eaters with a few more dietary restrictions. Vegan, gluten-free, or vegetarian, Rainbow has something tasty for everyone to try. Right across from campus, the restaurant has a large patio for a sunny brunch. Their menu has great options for breakfast or lunch, whatever strikes your fancy. Pictured here is the Funny Bunny, an alcoholic juice drink, and the Avo Stroller vegetarian wrap (from the brunch menu). |

Snooze has some of the most delectable pancakes you will ever eat. Although the restaurant is a franchise, with locations around Colorado, it is still locally sourced to support the economy and provide delicious ingredients. If you've never been, well then, you are missing out on some magical pancakes and eggs benedict. |

The Alleycat Coffee House is a classic student study location located across from campus in Dalzell Alley. Open 24/7, the cafe has homemade drinks, including spicy chai, and great snacks for any time of day. If you see an open table, you should jump on it because this place fills up quickly with students cramming for exams and writing midterm papers. |

Starry Night has all the finesse of a high-class cafe, with the homey feel of a local town. Located in Old Town, the cafe draws an older and more business-oriented crowd. As an espresso cafe, you have to try their tasty dirt (my opinion on straight espresso is always in good humor). If you're around during lunch or dinner, grab a homemade sandwich, it won't disappoint. |

Wild Boar Coffee is one of the more eclectic locations in town, in an historic old building just off College Avenue. Coffee house is almost a misnomer, especially for a place that makes great sandwiches and breakfasts, serves local beers on tap, and also hosts events on a regular basis. Go in for your morning Joe, or come in later for an afternoon beer, just don't miss out. |
