Eat & Be Happy
Local in FoCo is a new publication — written by a student and for the students of CSU. As a rapidly growing city, Fort Collins has a lot to offer in terms of locally owned restaurants, bars and stores. In fact, FoCo has the highest number of restaurants per capita in the entire state of Colorado, outnumbering even Denver.
Fort Collins is full of young people who eat meals out and spend their weekends at the local bars. Every once in a while we even host parents and grandparents, aunts or uncles.
For those who are new to town, the options are endless and often overwhelming. That's where I come in. This publication is dedicated to good food.
I have selected about 20 restaurants here in Fort Collins — some are my favorites and more are recommendations from friends. The next time you have some family or friends in town, don't resort to the easy chain restaurant, pick something different and try to go local. I promise, we have some damn good local joints.
